Marketing Manchester - Here for Culture
Art organisations across the city collaborated with Marketing Manchester to launch the #HereForCultureMCR campaign, to encourage people from all backgrounds to return to venues and embrace the culture of Manchester.
The Brief
We filmed in iconic venues across the city, from the Royal Exchange Theatre and The Lowry, to The Manchester Museum and Central Library. This took a lot of logistical planning and liaising. The locations were undoubtedly passionate to facilitate this shoot for Marketing Manchester and What Media. We sourced diverse talent in order to accurately represent the people of Manchester, whether they’re born Mancunians or Honorary Mancunians.
We filmed with one speaker per venue, delivering one line of an inspiring and emotive poem. The final video highlights that culture is back in our city, as well as showcasing the true energy of Manchester.
